Welcome to Milan, a city both accessible and welcoming, ready to host our international delegates from across the globe for EASL Congress 2024.

Milan benefits from excellent air connectivity. Its primary international airport, Milano Malpensa is well-situated and offers flights to 323 destinations, and is located approximately 45 kilometres from Milan. Efficient transportation options are available to reach the heart of Milan from Milano Malpensa Airport: Whether by train, bus, taxi, or hotel shuttle, the city centre can be reached in just a short half-hour. We recommend using public transport for the most budget and sustainability friendly alternative!

If your journey brings you to Milan by train, you will likely disembark at Milan Central Station, a major railway hub. From there, continuing your travel within the city using public transport or a taxi is straightforward. Additionally, if you are arriving from a different station within Italy, you might have the choice to select a Milan train station that is more convenient for your accommodation.

For those opting to explore Milan by car, familiarity with the A10 ring road is key. This roadway encircles the city and provides essential access. Intersected by 18 S-routes, each leading directly to distinct districts within Milan, this road network simplifies navigation. Knowledge of the appropriate S-route to use can significantly ease your journey within the city.
