Message from the EASL Secretary General.

On behalf of the European Association for the Study of the Liver, I am delighted to invite you to EASL Congress 2027 in London, United Kingdom, from 16–19 June 2027.
As my home city, it gives me particular pleasure to welcome the global hepatology community to London, a city renowned for bringing together people, ideas and cultures from every corner of the world. Much like EASL Congress itself, London thrives on diversity, innovation and collaboration. And while we cannot promise four days of uninterrupted sunshine (this is London, after all!), we can guarantee an inspiring and unforgettable Congress experience.
EASL Congress is the world’s premier hepatology gathering. With more than 8,500 participants from more than 109 countries in 2026, it unites the full community, from young investigators to leading key opinion leaders, alongside researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, patient representatives and policy experts.
And there truly is something for everyone. Delegates can immerse themselves in a programme packed with the latest scientific breakthroughs and emerging developments, gain direct access to the field’s leading minds through Meet-the-Experts sessions, and develop practical skills through our hands-on Skills Learning Centres.
