Access to all scientific events will only be possible with your personal name badge. All participants are requested to wear their name badges throughout the congress.

EUR 50.00 (incl. VAT) will be charged for replacing a lost badge and for re-printing due to incorrect submission of names and/or company names or addresses.

ExCeL London has two on-site stations:

Custom House for ExCeL — served by the Elizabeth line and the DLR.
Prince Regent — served by the DLR (EASL Congress 2027 main entrance).

All blackout periods listed below are set aside exclusively for EASL Congress 2027 programming, sessions, and official events. During these times, no event with more than 70 attendees may take place at the venue or nearby:

All official prices are indicated in Euro (€). The official currency in London is British Pounds. All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants, and shops.

The EASL Congress is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all attendees, including individuals with disabilities.

EASL recognises that individuals with disabilities may require the assistance of personal care attendants to fully participate in the Congress. We provide complimentary access to personal care attendants accompanying registered attendees with disabilities. Please inform the registration staff upon arrival.

We welcome feedback from attendees with disabilities to identify areas for improvement. Please contact easlcongress@easloffice.eu with any request.

In the UK the standard plugs are Type G, with a voltage of 230V and a frequency of 50Hz. If you are travelling from a country that uses different plug types or voltage standards, you may need a plug adapter and possibly a voltage converter.

All sessions will be available through an online event platform. The event app “EASL Congress 2027” will be downloadable on the Apple and Play stores closer to the Congress date.

There are various restaurants in the congress centre offering different food options.

Lunch and coffee are not included in the registration fee. Water dispensers are located at numerous places throughout the venue.

The official language of the congress is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

To enhance interactivity, these sessions have a limited number of available seats. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority access for EASL Member delegates. Please ensure you are present at the session door at least 15 minutes before the session starts.

Registration and admission to the Congress is restricted exclusively to participants who are 18 years of age or older, in accordance with current health and safety regulations and legal requirements. You may be requested to provide identification to Congress staff.

In the event that a child accompanies their parent to the conference, they must remain under the direct supervision of their parents and not venture beyond the designated registration area. EASL Congress offers professional childcare services for delegates.

Print-at-home badge instructions

1. Badges will be sent by email from easlcongress.registration@easloffice.eu one week prior to the Congress.
2. Open the PDF file attached to that email.
3. Print your badge on white A4 paper in colour, using standard print settings, at 100% size.
4. Fold your badge in four.
5. Insert the folded badge into the plastic badge holder you will receive onsite.

Important: digital badges on mobile devices are not accepted for entry. Badges are personal, individual, and non-transferable. Scan your badge each day when entering and leaving the venue — this is essential for your certificate of attendance and CME credits.

EASL Congress 2027 is a non-smoking event.

The Speaker Service Centre is located above the registration area, at the Capital Lounge, level 2. The Faculty Lounge is in the same area.

In London, the standard time in June is British Summer Time (BST, UTC+01:00).

It is recommended to apply as early as possible for a visa, as the application process can be time consuming. See the visa page for UK entry requirements and the Electronic Travel Authorisation.

An invitation letter for visa application support from the EASL Congress 2027 registration system will be provided upon request during the registration process. This letter will be sent to the specified email address once registration is completed and payment is received.

The invitation letter does not imply any obligation on behalf of EASL to cover registration fees, accommodation, travel expenses, or any other costs associated with Congress participation.

In the event of a visa denial, EASL will reimburse the registration fee only upon receipt of the official refusal document from the embassy or consulate, provided the application was submitted in a timely manner with all required documentation.
