Registration fees
Members benefit from significantly reduced registration fees for EASL Congress. Membership fees start as low as EUR 25 for members from emerging economies. Reduced membership fees are also offered for trainees and postdocs, nurses, allied health professionals, and patient representatives.

VAT and methods of payment
Onsite Registrations VAT
- Registration fees for onsite participants include 20% UK VAT.
- Onsite group registrations by UK business entities are subject to reverse charge.
Online Registrations VAT
- Registration fees for online participants: Registration fees for online participation are exclusive of VAT. Where applicable, VAT will be calculated and applied at the time of registration, in accordance with the participant’s country of residence, as required by EU VAT regulations for digital services.

Methods of Payment
Credit card: only Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted. Please note that the merchant name that will appear on your credit card statement will be “Congrex Switzerland Ltd.”.
- A handling fee of 3% is applied to each booking.
Bank transfer:
- Bank account details will be mentioned on your registration invoice (only available until 26 April 2027, 23:59 CET).
Cheques:
- Please note that payments by personal cheque are not accepted.
In view of the hardships experienced by the people of Ukraine and in support of its scientific and patient communities, EASL is providing Ukrainian nationals and residents with complimentary online registration for EASL Congress 2027.
Please email EASLcongress.registration@easloffice.eu to receive instructions, attaching a scan of a Ukrainian government-issued passport or a Ukrainian study or residence permit as proof of identity. This offer is valid for all Ukrainian nationals and formerly Ukraine-based residents, regardless of where they are currently residing.
Compliance policy
Access to exhibition: prescription-only medicine (POM)
In preparation for the EASL Congress 2027, taking place 16–19 June 2027, London, UK, EASL will implement specific measures to ensure compliance with ABPI guidance as well as all applicable national and international pharmaceutical regulations.
Access restrictions for ABPI-relevant exhibition areas
In line with the ABPI Guidance for scientific conferences and events, access to exhibition booths displaying prescription-only medicines (POMs) will be strictly limited to:
- Certified healthcare professionals (HCPs): members of the medical, dental, pharmacy and nursing professions and any other persons who in the course of their professional activities may administer, prescribe, purchase, recommend or supply a medicine
- Individuals legally qualified to prescribe medicines
- Pharmacists
- Other Relevant Decision Makers (ORDMs): a person or organisation, other than a prescriber, who can influence or make decisions about which medicines are used. This might include NHS commissioners or formulary decision-makers.

Responsibility of the registering party
It will be the responsibility of the registering party to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Confirm that the professional role declared aligns with ABPI definitions (including HCP, ORDM, and pharmacist categories)
- EASL will not take responsibility for verifying information provided and accepts no liability for inaccurate or incomplete data supplied during registration.
Commitment to regulatory compliance
These measures will be in place to:
- Ensure adherence to national and international pharmaceutical guidelines
- Guarantee that information on prescription-only medicines is shared only with appropriately qualified professionals
- Maintain transparency in alignment with ABPI principles

Registration information
* Memberships need to be valid at the time of the registration until the end of the Congress. EASL reserves the right to change the registration category to Non-EASL member for any participant whose membership does not meet these criteria.
** Proof uploads required
The Trainees & Postdocs registration fee is applicable for individuals up to 35 years old, as well as for individuals up to 40 years who are still in training (Masters, PhD, Postdocs and residents in training) at the time of the Congress. Proof of age or a certificate from the supervisor or head of department must be forwarded together with the registration.
Nurse: confirmation of the current status as nurse.
Allied Health Professional: confirmation of the current status as AHP.
Local Nurse & AHP day pass, valid only 16–17 June: confirmation of the current status as nurse or AHP, and proof of activity in the UK.

We recommend applying for any required travel authorisation or visa as early as possible, as the application process can take time. Before making your travel arrangements, please check the latest UK entry requirements and immigration regulations.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and country of residence. Citizens of most European countries do not require a visa for short business visits, such as attending the EASL Congress, but must obtain a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before travelling.
Please note that the United Kingdom is not part of the Schengen Area. A Schengen visa does not permit entry into the UK.

Any pharmaceutical companies producing drugs in Italy and participating as sponsors or exhibitors at this event must be registered at the Italian Ministry of Health.

EASL policy on external meetings, ancillary meetings and blackout times
All blackout periods listed below are set aside exclusively for EASL Congress 2027 programming, sessions, and official events. During these times, no event with more than 70 attendees may take place at the venue or nearby:

- Wednesday, 16 June 2027: 07:00–20:30
- Thursday, 17 June 2027: 07:00–20:30
- Friday, 18 June 2027: 07:00–20:30
